Stitch in a full astronaut suit is such a random combo and that’s exactly why it works! The bubble helmet distorts his face a little.

A melting popsicle on the beach is such a satisfying study in drips. My puddle underneath never looks wet enough on the first pass.
It should look shiny, almost like a tiny mirror. My second try always nails it, somehow!

Sunflower Field Sketch Scene
This sunflower field sketch is one of my favorite summer drawing ideas because the repetition is oddly relaxing. Row after row of identical petals turns into a rhythm pretty fast!

Flip flops half buried in sand feel like an unexpected thing to draw and that’s the appeal. My patience runs out around the fortieth grain of sand every time!
It pays off once the texture builds up. Worth the wrist cramp, honestly!

An upside down reflection sketch is genuinely one of the more unique drawing ideas here. My mirrored lines always come out wavier than planned, which somehow works.
Draw the subject normally on top, then mirror it below for water. How satisfying is that symmetry once it’s finished? Very!

Galaxy Inside Mason Jar
A galaxy inside a mason jar is such a clever little concept. My swirls never match twice, which is honestly the fun part!
Stars and color get trapped behind the glass outline like it’s bottled up. Leave a highlight streak so the glass reads as glass, not a flat circle.

Spiderman Swinging Between Buildings
Spiderman swinging between buildings is one of those spiderman drawing ideas that looks intense but breaks down pretty simply. Get the web line angle right. The whole pose feels like it’s actually moving.

A close up of the Spiderman mask is all about those sharp white eye shapes. My angles always come out crooked on the first pass, so I redo them twice.
Get them crisp and the expression reads without a single line of an actual face. Oddly great for practicing symmetry too.

A heart shaped balloon bouquet is a sweet pick from the valentine drawing ideas pile. My clusters always look sparse until I add one more balloon.
Cluster a few different sizes together so the bunch feels full. Somebody always asks if it’s a real bouquet, lol!

Last but definitely not least, we have Cupid aiming his little love arrow. Bent bow, tiny wings and a smug grin.
